Welcome aboard, Kyla!
The FLEFC staff team is delighted to introduce our May-Aug Canada Summer Jobs Worker here at the church: Kyla Mears. Kyla began her time of employment with us this past Monday morning. She is a fourth year TWU student and no stranger among many of us; indeed she partnered with our 2017-18 AWANA team, leading the TWU students who served our children that year. Kyla brings to our staff her strong background in leadership and her enthusiasm for ministry. She will be serving 30 hours weekly with us attending to all sorts of small and large tasks around our office and wider building, but will be making a special investment in children’s, youth and young adult ministries in her season with us. On an upcoming Sunday or any day you happen to cross paths with her, introduce yourself and see how she is making out learning all of our names. Feel free to reach out with your own welcome at [email protected]
Upon recommendation from the Church Board, Pastor Jason will be taking a brief sabbatical. He will be out of office from April 29 - May 20. Jason will be away for some time to rest, reflect and seeking the Lord for His direction for FLEFC upon his return.
We are pleased to have Daryl Busby come and speak for two weeks. Please contact the church office with any concerns during Jason’s leave.
