Way to go, Rainbow Loomers! Our March 20 Rainbow Loom Meet Up event drew 45 boys and girls, complete with their supplies, to come on out and craft bracelets and other novelties for themselves, others and in support of a Haiti Children's Home fundraising project. The $2 admission per child raised nearly $100 for this good cause. Children chatted and crafted happily, enjoyed juice and cookies, good music, a candy guessing contest, a chance to win balloons and a pause in the morning to partake in a Bible devotional from Psalm 139, on God as the Master Designer and Weaver of our human bodies- so fearfully and so wonderfully made.
What a beautiful and cheerful spirit of friendship and creativity was evident among all of our looming kids. Good work, everyone!
Thanks to all of the parents who came out to support and especially to Deanna Forrest whose vision for this event and personal energies made this event a delight for all.
