Mothering: it is the hardest job we will ever love to do and never ever want to be without. Our highest calling as women is being honored today! Happy Mothers Day to all of you, ladies.
To the dear moms working with children at home, juggling more than ever thought of at this COVID-19 time- bless you!!!
Meals cooked, floors washed, beds made, spills wiped up, laundry folded, bathrooms cleaned, groceries unpacked, calls made, emails sent, conflicts smoothed, stories read, sleep starved nights, worries worried, hugs given, kisses kissed, prayers prayed, friendships forged, dreams buried, conversations longed for, do its and deadlines, rush times and regrets, graces and godsends, heart ache and hearts filled, work never quite done and probably never will be, the scripture and our Saviour who guides us in making any and all of this our humble, often broken but beautiful offerings to Him- such is our mothering.
May we love our children, husbands, friends, church family and communities well- with Jesus' own love that “ bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Praying for us all this week!
